This Christmas, treat someone really in need

Back in 2020 we refocused our Toys 'n' Tucker efforts to partner with Good Shepherd Anglican Church at Greenacre: here's a small sister church like us but with fewer resources and a challenging local mission field. Each December since then, by our simple gifts and fellowship, we have offered a real boost to this small church as they seek to reach cultures so different from us!
Why do they bother? Because Jesus sees everyone's value, and so do they (and so do we).

Our practical support means they have culturally appropriate food hampers each December to offer all whom they love/serve each fortnight through their Mobile Food Pantry in partnership with Anglicare.

This year, we will again be preparing full-size hampers in Anglicare boxes: for each hamper we have two different half-shopping lists (A/B). Each half-shopping list (A/B) should cost $30–35 to purchase and is organised this way to keep the costs equal and to make it easier to purchase multiples of the same item.

If you are able, we would love you to sign up to purchase the contents for one or more half-hampers, as an overflow of God's kindnesses to you. We will then gather and pack the hampers together.

Our local packing date is Sunday 1 December from 3:30 till 5:00 pm — in our Small Hall.
You can bring your shopping any Sunday morning till then, or else between 5 pm and 7 pm on Wednesday 27 November.
